CONFERENCE OF PEZA — A GLORIOUS HISTORICAL ACHIEVEMENT OF THE COMMUNIST PARTY OF ALBANIA AND ENVER HOXHA

Today, on September 16, 2025, the Communist Party of Albania (CPA) carried out a political action in Peza, marking the 83rd anniversary of the Conference of Peza.
Early in the morning, the comrades assigned to propaganda duties set up, as usual, the Political Exhibition of the CPA at the entrance of Peza, next to the Monument of Myslim Peza. The exhibition featured photos of Enver Hoxha, photos of martyrs, CPA flags, CPA posters and slogans, a stand with People’s Heroes and items related to the National Liberation War, among others.
The people who came to participate in the celebration of the 83rd anniversary of the Conference of Peza visited the Political Exhibition of the CPA with great interest and expressed love and sympathy for Enver Hoxha, the CPA, the martyrs of the homeland and the Conference of Peza.
Many veterans and descendants of veterans, workers, peasants, intellectuals, students, pupils and others expressed high regard and appreciation for the Communist Party of Albania, which, under extremely difficult conditions imposed by a reactionary bourgeois anti-communist regime for nearly half a century, has defended and continues to defend — with self-sacrifice — the Anti-Fascist National Liberation War of the Albanian people, led by the Communist Party of Albania and the great Enver.
At 10:00 a.m., Comrade Qemal Cicollari, Chairman of the Communist Party of Albania, delivered a passionate speech on behalf of the CPA in honour of the 83rd anniversary of the Conference of Peza.
In his speech, Comrade Qemal Cicollari emphasized that, at the proposal of Enver Hoxha, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Albania decided to convene the National Liberation Conference, which was held on September 16 in Peza.
He spoke about the historical circumstances, the participants of the Conference of Peza and its historic decisions.
Comrade Qemal Cicollari, Chairman of the CPA, emphasized the historic decisions of the Conference of Peza:
— to wage an uncompromising war against the fascist occupiers and traitors for a free, independent and democratic Albania;
— to achieve sound organization of all true Albanians, regardless of class, political beliefs, religion or region, in a united National Liberation Front;
— to establish national liberation councils everywhere as organs of unity and mobilization of the people in the war and as organs of people’s power;
— to promote and prepare the general armed uprising of the people as the final stage, as the logical outcome of the partisan war, and so on.
He highly praised the role of the Communist Party of Albania and Enver Hoxha, who called for and organized the Conference of Peza.
Comrade Qemal Cicollari, Chairman of the Communist Party of Albania, exposed and strongly condemned the anti-communist, anti-people and anti-national policy of the bourgeois Albanian state, which has falsified, slandered and denied, in one form or another, the Anti-Fascist National Liberation War, the Conference of Peza, and in particular the organizing and leading role of the Communist Party of Albania and Enver Hoxha in this victorious war, which led to the liberation of Albania from the Italian-German fascist occupiers and the traitorous collaborators of the homeland — the Ballist and Zogite factions — on November 29, 1944.
Comrade Qemal Cicollari, Chairman of the Communist Party of Albania, also exposed and strongly condemned the anti-communist, anti-popular and anti-national policies of the bourgeois Albanian parties — both right-wing and so-called “left-wing” — such as the neo-fascist bourgeois Democratic Party of Sali Berisha, the neo-Ballist bourgeois Socialist Party of Edi Rama and others. These parties have falsified, slandered and denied the Anti-Fascist National Liberation War and the Conference of Peza, especially the organizing and leading role of the Communist Party of Albania and Enver Hoxha in this glorious and triumphant war.
The neo-fascist bourgeois Democratic Party of Sali Berisha has erected a monument of honour, right in the centre of Tirana, to the chief traitor of the homeland — the former king Ahmet Zogu — and to other criminals against the people and homeland.
The neo-Ballist bourgeois Socialist Party of Edi Rama has erected a monument of honour to Mithat Frashëri, the chairman of the traitorous collaborationist organization “Balli Kombëtar,” along with other enemies of the people and the homeland.
Comrade Qemal Cicollari’s speech was followed with great attention and interest by the people, who applauded and chanted for Enver Hoxha and the CPA.
An organized group of CPA members, led by Comrade Qemal Cicollari, Chairman of the CPA, went to pay tribute at the cemetery of the martyrs of Peza.
On the way to the cemetery of the martyrs of Peza, the people followed with great interest, applauding and chanting together with the communists for the CPA and Enver Hoxha.
Comrade Qemal Cicollari, Chairman of the Communist Party of Albania, greeted the people.
He called directly and face-to-face on the people present to awaken politically and to abandon, as soon as possible, the bourgeois political parties — the neo-fascist bourgeois Democratic Party of Sali Berisha, the bourgeois Socialist Party of Edi Rama and others — because they have erected monuments of honour to the traitors of the homeland, the Ballist-Zogite collaborators, these servants of the fascist occupiers who killed 28,000 martyrs, who killed and wounded partisans, who killed the people and burned and destroyed Albania.
He made it clear to the people present in Peza that there is no middle ground — either with Enver Hoxha to save the people and the homeland, or with Mithat Frashëri against the people and the homeland.
Comrade Qemal called on the people to abandon the bourgeois parties as soon as possible, especially in these very complicated and dangerous historical circumstances — both internal and external — in which capitalist Albania is a colony of Euro-American imperialism, because the fate of the people and the homeland is in great danger.
Comrade Qemal called on the people to unite as soon as possible with the Communist Party of Albania to save the people and the homeland.
Comrade Qemal Cicollari, Chairman of the Communist Party of Albania, and Comrade Shahin Çaça, Secretary of the Central Committee of the CPA, laid a wreath of flowers at the Monument dedicated to the martyrs of Peza and the heroic people of Peza.
There, the communist comrades took many photos.
