Description
Kosova is Albania is a new addition to the rich treasury of Comrade Enver Hoxha’s works, selected by his son, Ilir Hoxha, from his Political Diary. In it, Enver demonstrates a masterful understanding of the history of the Balkan region and its practical consequences, an acute insight into the manoeuvres of the Titoite revisionist clique and the intelligence of a most skilled diplomat. Here, he fully applies Lenin’s concept of firmness in principle and flexibility in tactic — without ever interfering the Albanian state in the internal affairs of Yugoslavia, he perfectly encapsulates the thinking of a nation not only three million within the borders of Albania, but six million including Kosova and the other Albanian territories in Yugoslavia. More than anything, Kosova is Albania is filled with boundless love for Enver’s beloved Kosovar brothers of one Albanian blood, giving them advice but also recognizing the necessity for them to give rise to their own solutions. At the same time, he trembles with anger whenever writing about the brutal, merciless, racist and fascist terror unleashed by the Titoites and Great-Serbs against them. Enver’s road means peresisting despite the interference, annexations and occupations of Albanian territories and terror of the Albanian population by various imperialists throughout history, knowing that the Albanian nation is one as an objective unit, “is Albanian, belongs to Albania and should be returned to Albania.” Only the Albanians themselves, relying on their own pen and gun, can realize these aspirations and reunite their lands and people — this is the fearless, patriotic spirit of the Albanian, personified by no one better than xhaxhi.
