Statement from the Syrian Resistance in the Coast

To whom it may concern,

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,
(So whoever has assaulted you, then assault him in the same way that he has assaulted you)

Nearly three weeks have passed since armed gangs seized power in Syria with the approval and blessing of the United States, the Zionist occupying state and NATO.

From the very first day, we witnessed the malicious actions they carried out, including theft, violations, chaos, corruption, and the destruction and vandalism of Syrian public property. We also saw the Hollywood-style fabrications they created in places like “Sednaya Prison” and elsewhere to gain public opinion and popular support, mocking the intelligence of certain peoples who believed their naivety and sided with them. This was further aided by the media propaganda from pro-Zionist channels, particularly those in the Gulf, which conveniently ignored the prisons of the Zionist occupation and the genocidal war on Gaza.

As a result, from the very first day, we anticipated that the future of Syria after December 8 would be bleak for its people. We said that the law of “the Wahhabi sword upon necks” had arrived.

At the time, some believed us, while others denied our warnings and continued to dance to the illusionary tune of “freedom,” accompanied by the sounds of Israeli bombardments that persisted for several nights. These bombardments coincided with Israeli incursions and violations of Syrian land and state sovereignty, all of which were entirely ignored by the administration that had assumed power. This continued until statements were made by one “Maher Marwan” a day ago, justifying the reasons behind the Israeli bombardment of Syrian resources. He pandered to the enemy by stating that the new administration has no issues with them, that it is submissive and open to peace, and that Netanyahu’s problem was only with Iran and Hezbollah in Syria — issues that they claimed to have resolved. Now, what is referred to as “the legitimate authority” is fully prepared to execute and receive orders from “Tel Aviv.”

Indeed, the “Zionist-Wahhabi” project has begun murdering the Syrian people in the streets, homes and fields at the hands of the new administration — “the terrorist gang government” — unjustly and aggressively, without any legitimate religious, legal or moral justification. Decisions to shed human blood are now made based on a mere question or by examining someone’s identity card. Entire residential areas are being starved, besieged and bombed — along with the children, women and innocent people within them — under the pretext of pursuing “remnants of the regime.”

What remnants, and what false excuses justify bombing homes over the heads of their inhabitants? But such actions are not surprising from those who were trained under the banner of Zionist ISIS. They replicate the actions of the Israeli army in Palestine, where they bomb densely populated buildings, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of martyrs, all under the pretext of targeting resistance fighters.

In light of the aforementioned, we, a group of individuals from Damascus, the coastal region and other cities, affirm the following:

The continued massacres committed by the armed gangs affiliated with the new administration against our people will be met with targeted actions against your terrorist members and leaders. Our Syrian popular resistance has many surprises in store, and our youth are fully capable of reaching you in the heart of Damascus. We call on all concerned parties inside and outside Syria to pressure the terrorist administration, represented by “Ahmed Al-Shara,” to halt its criminal operations against the components of the Syrian people. Otherwise, a “bloodbath” is imminent, as their terrorism and crimes escalate to unprecedented levels.

We remain patient, refraining from action to prevent bloodshed and to ensure that we are not accused of inciting discord. Our only desire is for Syria to remain an independent Arab nation, as it has always been, for all the components of our people.
